Claire Bradnam
Doctoral Researcher
I am a service design practitioner and PhD researcher. I have worked solely in the third sector for my career and bring this wealth of practical experience to my research. I am passionate about expanding the practice of co-design, particularly in the third sector. My PhD research explores the impacts to people who participate in a co-design process, particularly those that fulfil a role of ‘expert by experience’. This is part of a broader scrutiny of third sector co-design projects, exploring their ambition and engagement with ethical issues of participation. I also chair a peer network of service design practitioners in the third sector – Design Third Sector and lead Mind’s service design work.
