I am a videographer and ethnographer. My research interest lies at the intersection of art and science. I specialise in
understanding workplaces (such as academic institutions) and I am particularly interested in the materiality and performativity of mundane
artefacts, routines and work cultures. My passion is linking anthropological thinking and performance studies with Design and HCI to create an
interdisciplinary framework for understanding technological practices in cross-cultural contexts.
I am currently the research fellow of the DESIAP women leadership mentoring programme, working alongside Professor Joyce Yee, the DESIAP programme is supporting women-identifying individuals to develop their leadership capacity. The 2022-2023 programme mentees are based in Australia, Japan, Malaysia and Thailand, working as activists, artists, craft-makers and social innovators.
