border: 0px; font-family: Montserrat; letter-spacing: 0.3px;\">Roxanne Bottomley is a designer and educator from Leeds, currently running the MA programme in Graphic Design at Leeds Arts University.<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; border: 0px; font-family: Montserrat; letter-spacing: 0.3px;\">\u00a0<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; border: 0px; font-family: Montserrat; letter-spacing: 0.3px;\">\u00a0<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; border: 0px; font-family: Montserrat; letter-spacing: 0.3px;\">\u00a0<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; border: 0px; font-family: Montserrat; letter-spacing: 0.3px;\">\u00a0<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; border: 0px; font-family: Montserrat; letter-spacing: 0.3px;\">Roxanne\u2019s research interests centre around queer and feminist design methods and how these can be used in football spaces. Whilst completing her MRes at the Royal College of Art, Roxanne focused on football fandom and feminist participatory methods. Now studying at Northumbria, her doctoral research looks at the way queer design methods can document and archive the experiences of women and queer folk in grassroots football spaces.<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; border: 0px; font-family: Montserrat; letter-spacing: 0.3px;\">\u00a0<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; border: 0px; font-family: Montserrat; letter-spacing: 0.3px;\">\u00a0<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; border: 0px; font-family: Montserrat; letter-spacing: 0.3px;\">\u00a0<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; border: 0px; font-family: Montserrat; letter-spacing: 0.3px;\">\u00a0<\/div><div style=\"margin: 0px; border: 0px; font-family: Montserrat; letter-spacing: 0.3px;\">Roxanne recently contributed to the first book of its kind to look at the design story behind football \u201cFootball: Designing the beautiful game\u201d, published by the Design museum, where her writing contributed queer perspectives on football\u2019s communication design and looked at how grassroots initiatives continue to pushback against the sports commercialisation.<\/div><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0px; font-family: Montserrat; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: 0.3px;\">\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
