Louisa studied Fashion Photography & Styling at the London College of Fashion before moving on to a master\u2019s degree in creative entrepreneurship at Newcastle University.\u00a0She is the Creative Director of\u00a0Studio Courtenay<\/a>, a responsible clothing brand which is designed and made in the North East region and sells European vintage through\u00a0Trendlistr.<\/a>\u00a0She is a founding committee member of\u00a0Colour Collective UK<\/a>, a not-for-profit organisation that promotes colour education through multidisciplinary workshops and lectures that incorporate neuroscience, visual culture, art history and psychology.<\/p>

She completed the Cambridge University Institute for Sustainability Leadership Accelerator Programme in 2020. Her current areas of research are fringe digital identities and the imagery of the War on Terror from a visual studies perspective.<\/p>

She now lectures at\u00a0Northumbria University<\/span>\u00a0on\u00a0Fashion Communication BA (Hons)<\/span><\/a>, running the Fashion Insight and Innovation and PR, Social and Brand modules. She has previously lectured for the\u00a0<\/span>MA Arts, Business & Creativity course\u00a0<\/span><\/a>at\u00a0Newcastle University<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0University of Sunderland<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0BA (Hons) Fashion Journalism<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/strong>Fashion Design & Promotion\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>course.<\/strong><\/p><\/div>
