The Care and Repair for Environmental Sustainability (CARES) Project<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A co-ordinated response is needed to change how clothing is consumed and managed to extend the life of garments and minimise waste. Reducing<\/p>

This project will explore the implementation of garment management practices at multiple stakeholder and sector levels within the fashion and textile value chain using the Care & Repair Guide 1.0 as a training tool.<\/p>

Focusing on elevating skills, knowledge, attitudes and behaviours towards responsible behaviours, the research project will collaborate with a range of stakeholders including brands, social enterprise groups, consumers and students to explore and further activate care and repair principles and practices.<\/p>

These sessions will draw on the current Guide, testing efficiency of the interactive materials. Participants will then be asked to reflect on the process, providing essential feedback to improve the content of the Guide.
