At present, I am exploring the application of sensors and devices to promote independent living in the context of smart modular homes and to support individuals with learning disabilities, autism and those within transforming care programmes. My research lies in the area of assistive technologies and co-design. I have a background in Computer Science and I am currently completing my PhD at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.
