Annette Hand, iSupport-PD Co-lead
Annette is a Clinical Academic Professor of Nursing at Northumbria University and Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Trust. Annette has worked as a Parkinson’s nurse for over 25 years.
Kate Greenwell, iSupport-PD Co-lead
Kate is a Health Psychologist and Senior Research Fellow at the University of Southampton. She has expertise in developing and testing digital health programmes.
Joy Milne, iSupport-PD co-applicant and PPI lead
Joy has decades of experience as a carer for a person with Parkinson’s. Joy is an active PPI researcher and is dedicated to supporting carers of people with Parkinson’s.
Andrew McCarthy, iSupport-PD co-applicant
Andrew is an Assistant Professor in Health Economics at Northumbria University. Andrew has expertise in quantitative analysis and trial design.
Joanna Slodkowska-Barabasz
Joanne is a Research Fellow at the University of Southampton. Her research focuses on digital intervention development. She will be developing the iSupport-PD online resource.
Daniel Rippon
Daniel is an Assistant Professor in Psychology and dedicates his research towards findings ways to further facilitate familial caregivers.
Dilupa Samarakoon – iSupport-PD Trial Manager
Dilupa is a Senior Research Fellow in Health Economics at Northumbria University. Dilupa will be assisting with all aspects of the trial ensuring its smooth running from start to finish.
