Participatory Design

Participatory design is a core ethos of design research in the school. Evidence of this is seen through the wide ranging work conducted across different subject areas such as the use of exploring the role of IOT technologies in supporting social cohesion; considering the role regional design and craft practices have in shaping and holding together community identity and heritage as well as linking place and memory; and supporting carers through challenges of isolation and lack of social connectivity.
