Josh South
Senior Research Assistant
Josh is currently a research assistant on the Enabling Ongoingness EPSRC project exploring ways to support continuing bonds through design and digital media.
Following his degree, Josh worked with a number of the UK’s leading architecture and interior design firms as a bespoke furniture and product designer. He also joined the Designers in Residence scheme at Northumbria University where he developed and exhibited a number of self-led projects, alongside contributing to the Tools for Everyday Life collective.
As a design researcher and maker, Josh utilises his experience in a broad range of advanced prototyping techniques to allow him to work in new, participatory ways within research contexts.
