I am a Graphic Designer, Illustrator, and Educator, currently investigating Jordanian T-shirt phenomenon, focusing on how hybridity and transculturalism are involved in the way this new item of clothing communicates. I am a Co-Founder of Transcultural Art and Design (TAD) Postgraduate Research Forum in Northumbria University, which was established for researchers, scholars, and practitioners to engage in critical dialogue around contemporary themes in interdisciplinary design, visual and material culture. I have six years’ experience of instructing and lecturing in Jordanian universities, in areas of Design, Fashion, and Multimedia. During my PhD I have been constantly engaged in various creative workshops and career development trainings to equip new sets of skills, get fresh insights, and advance knowledge.
