Doctoral Researcher

I received the B.Eng. degree in Software Engineering from Northwest A&F University, China in 2013, and then received the M.Eng. degree in Computer Application Technology from Northwest A&F University, China in 2016. Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate in Industrial Design in Northumbria School of Design. I started my Ph.D. from March, 2017. My research interests include human-computer interaction, computer aided design and crowdsourcing. My thesis is ‘Exploring How Design Concept Evaluation and Feedback Affect Product Design Quality on a Crowdsourcing-Based Collaborative Design Platform’, in which I develop a crowdsourcing-based design platform first, then investigate how design concept evaluation and feedback affect product design quality. The platform could provide crowds with various expertise and experience to help SMEs complete their practical design requirements which are hard to be finished in general design environment because of limited professionals and resources.
