Poetry Translation Centre features two poets from this project in an upcoming translation workshop

As part of its Spring session of translation workshops, the Poetry Translation Centre (PTC) will feature a poem by the great Saharawi national poet Zaim Allal. The translation workshop will also feature Saharawi poet and translator Hamza Lakhal, who is also leading on translations from Arabic and Hassaniya as part of our ‘poetry and diplomacy’ project. PTC workshops allow members of the public to translate poems in groups into English with the aid of a poet who facilitates the session, and a translator and native speaker of the source language of the poem. There is no need for workshop participants to speak the source language. For more information visit https://www.poetrytranslation.org/workshops/hassaniya-arabic-poetry-by-saharawi-poet-zaim-allal.
